Alias:

Vaughn: Syd...
(She stops. He takes off his silver watch.)
Vaughn: This watch belonged to my father. It's broken now, but it used to keep perfect time. And when he gave it to me, he said, "You could set your heart by this watch." It stopped October 1st -- the day we met.

The O.C.:

Marissa: Okay, so you guys will be over here. If you want to, go ahead and get into waltz position.
Anna and Ryan stand there.
Marissa: Which means, Anna, you put your left hand on Ryan's shoulder.
Anna places her hand on Ryan's shoulder.
Marissa: Um, no, not like that. Here, watch.
Marissa takes Anna's place and puts her hand on his shoulder.
Marissa: Now, Ryan, you put your right hand on my back.
He puts his hand on her upper back.
Marissa: Lower.
He slowly trails his hand down her back. They stare at each other for
a while, and look away, embarrassed.
Marissa: Okay, good. Good...
Luke: I'd be pretty jealous right now... if Chino wasn't gay.
Marissa: Luke.
Luke: What? No. It doesn't bother me. I mean, he was born that way, right?
Ryan: (to Marissa) Thanks. I think we can take it from here.
Marissa: Okay.

Work today:

B: Today's the first day this week I'm in the office for the whole day.
J: It must feel strange to you.
B: It does.
J: That's what happens when you're a high-flying jetsetter.
